Leah Hoppes

Leah Hoppes writes because she has seen women hurt by bad teaching, manipulation, confusion, and unhealthy relationships, and she is passionate about pointing them back to Scripture and ultimately to Jesus.

An award-winning author, Leah is the Gold Medal winner of the 2025 Illumination Christian Book Awards in the Biography/Memoir – Personal Struggle category. Her compassion for women living in, or still healing from, emotionally abusive relationships is evident in both *Restoring the Years the Locusts Have Eaten* and its companion Bible study, *Restored: Six-Session Bible Study on Discernment, Boundaries, and Freedom in Christ*.

Through her own story and teaching, Leah offers readers a path toward emotional and spiritual healing while providing valuable insight for pastors, counselors, ministry leaders, and others who support women navigating difficult and unhealthy relationships.

Committed to helping women heal from the effects of abuse, Leah has spent the past decade serving women in both group and one-on-one settings. She leads Bible studies and Emotional Freedom courses designed to help women grow in discernment, establish healthy boundaries, and experience the freedom found in Christ.

In addition to her ministry work, Leah is an entrepreneur and founder of Vision Force Marketing, a company she launched in 2013 to help small businesses grow through website design, SEO, branding, and strategic marketing. Through Vision Force Media, a division of her company, she also serves new and experienced writers with author coaching, self-publishing guidance, and publishing services.

Leah lives in Illinois with her husband and son and continues to write, teach, and encourage others through a biblical message of healing, hope, restoration, and freedom in Christ.
