Eric Weiskott

Eric Weiskott is Professor of English at Boston College, where he teaches and writes about poetry and poetics. He is the author most recently of the full-length poetry book Cycle of Dreams (punctum books, 2024), the poetry chapbook Chanties: An American Dream (Bottlecap Press, 2023), and the scholarly monograph Meter and Modernity in English Verse, 1350-1650 (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2021). He edits the Yearbook of Langland Studies with Alastair Bennett and Katharine Breen. Weiskott's writing on literature, politics, and higher education appears in the Los Angeles Review of Books, The Atlantic, Vox, and the Chronicle of Higher Education.
