Lynn Swayze

Lynn Swayze is a direct response copywriter turned horror author. She writes across genres including middle grade (kids) horror, adult gothic horror, fantasy, cozy mystery, and books on marketing.

Her adult horror series, Red Willow, features strong female protagonists, hidden sins, and the rich fictional universe of Red Willow, Indiana.

Lynn lives in the US with her husband, Adam Hall; four children; and two cats.

As a reader, her favorite horror novels are The Woman in Black by Susan Hill, We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson, Misery by Stephen King, and a myriad of gothics. Her favorite horror movies are The Skeleton Key, The Conjuring series, and everything Peele puts out, with TV series like The Haunting of Hill House, Bly Manor, and Midnight Mass becoming recent favorites. She was particularly haunted by Smile in 2022. Growing up, she devoured R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps novels, science fiction by Orson Scott Card, and fantasy by Anne Rice.
