Nathan Johnson

Nathan “Nate” Johnson is a healthcare research consultant and a widely published researcher. Born in Potterville, Michigan, Nate was raised in a middle class family. His father, Gary Johnson, worked for more than 30 years as a factory worker for General Motors, while his mother, Susan Johnson, has operated a hairstyling business for several decades.

Passionate about math and science from a young age, Nate has held a lifelong interest in healthcare and medicine. He worked for an optometrist while attending Potterville High School, where he was the Salutatorian. He then became a member of the Honors College at Michigan State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. Following his studies at Michigan State, Nate pursued graduate studies in public health at the Tufts University medical school campus in Boston, Massachusetts.

For several years, Nate has worked as a healthcare research consultant, first for Adelphi Values and later for Endpoint Outcomes, both Boston-based research companies. Nate has focused his research on patient-reported outcomes, and is widely published in the field of improving quality of life for patients suffering from a wide variety of ailments. He currently serves as a Senior Project Manager for Endpoint Outcomes, where he is responsible for numerous ongoing research projects.

Nate currently resides in Long Beach, California with his husband, Jared, and their adopted dog, Cooper.
