If you asked me to describe myself on a good day, I will tell you 'I'm awake.' I am an author, artist and graphic designer who dabbles in property videography on the side.
I am also a person with a disability. Spinocerebellar Ataxia is a rare form of Cerebral Palsy so I just call myself a 'Limited Edition'.
Painting for me is therapy. It is using and refining my fine motor skills with my fingers. It is stabilizing the tremor in my hands, although some days that just adds extra sparkle to the art work. It is my form of zenning out in a world gone mad.
Writing for me is a deep seated need to tell the stories that no one else will. To give people who are not so main stream someone to identify with. To fight for people who previously have had little to no voice. To give us a better life couched in fiction.
