J.D. Goossens

Born of elementary school teachers. Dragged himself up, a little to the left, and out of the middle class to waiter for his middle classmen and receive modest royalties for his debut novel To Lain Roads. An early draft of this first offering was long listed for the SFU Writer's Studio 1st Book Prize (top 9 in Canada) and has received a whack of critical acclaim, including comparisons with Toole's A Confederacy of Dunces.
