Joel Benson

Joel is a teacher, student, Mayor, and business owner. He knows the areas described in the book, while in the Peace Corps, river guiding, studying, and generally exploring people and philosophies. He lives with his wife and daughter in a small town in Colorado along with their dogs, goats, chickens, and honey bees.
