Bring the Funny is a book about comedy screenwriting by me, Greg DePaul. I'm a screenwriter (Bride Wars, Saving Silverman) and I've sold screenplays to Miramax, Sony, Disney, New Line, MGM and Village Roadshow studios. I also teach screenwriting at N.Y.U. and The New School.

Published by Focal Press, Bring the Funny only uses examples from modern (post-2000) comedy films to help you write great comedy screenplays.

In NYC it's available at Drama Book Shop, ​The Strand, McNally-Jackson Books, and the NYU Bookstore. In fact, I'm doing a fun event for the book at the NYU Bookstore Oct 27 at 6 PM and you're invited! I'm doing another at The Writers Store in LA Nov 19.

I'm also a playwright, and you can see my work in The Collective:10 Play Festival in NYC. Oh, and I co-founded a writers group in NYC called Stillwater.
