Trey Smith

Trey Smith, CFP®, CIMA®, CPWA®, ChFC®, CRPC®, was born in Kirksville, MO, and grew up in rural IL. After receiving his Bachelors at the University Of Illinois, he lived and owned businesses throughout the Southeast, until he settled in Nashville, TN with his wife Dianne in the late 90's; which is where he began his current career in the financial services industry and completed his MBA at the Owen School of Management, Vanderbilt University.

In addition to his public speaking, he completed his first book, "The Tips, Tricks and $ Advice They Didn't Teach You in College" in 2015, and it quickly rose to be on several of Amazon Kindle's bestseller lists in 2015. In 2016, he has published several articles on CNBC.COM, and completed his second book, "Money Does Grow on Trees: The Family Tree".
