I'm a Spaceship Test Engineer: I work for Virgin Galactic and lives in Las Cruces, NM.

Over the years, I would take the stories I told my eight children at bed time and transform them into a series of short stories. In 2010 as part of the Philadelphia Writers Workshop, I came up with my Angelica story. Her name is ironic since she is not much of an Angel. Her life is a series of misadventures. During the workshop I also became acquainted with Sheila the vampire which was a different take on vampires. I had three short stories that were published as part of Anthologies that I expanded into Novels. Henry and Sophie: A Steampunk Story, Katie the Teenage ghost, and Bella the Key Girl. During the last 14 years these characters have been my partners in crime on my journey as a writer. The struggle to create their universes has been both frustrating and joyous.

In 2017 I had a brain bleed. It has impacted my writing both good and bad. I now have to rewrite things 3 or 4 times which is bad, but I also have to focus which is good.

My favorite writing advice: The writer's number one job is to entertain themselves. If they don't love their writing no-one else will.

My biggest frustration is that when I go to bed my stories keep writing themselves in my head and I have to keep getting up to write them down. I'm afraid once I go to sleep I will lose the magic of the story.
