Jennifer Schulz-Johnston

Jennifer Schulz-Johnston is a Wisconsin native, who has spent her career as a mental health therapist, specializing in work with traumatized children. She worked alongside her husband, Tom for 17 years in a clinic that flourished under their shared direction. Jennifer began writing as a hobby on evenings and weekends. The story of The Widow's Garden unfolded mysteriously each time she took a few minutes to write. Tragically, her husband fell deathly ill and passed away before the manuscript was published. Jennifer continues directing the mental health clinic, which serves many children and families. Proceeds from the sales of The Widow's Garden are donated to the clinic in order to ensure that Jennifer and Tom's endeavor continues healing children in need.
