John T. Slotemaker

John Slotemaker was born in Everett, Washington, and grew up climbing in the Cascades. A student of literature, history, and philosophy at the University of Washington, he went on to Seminary, and completed a PhD in medieval theology at Boston College. He lives with his family in Stratford, Connecticut, and is the Aloysius P. Kelley, S.J., chair at Fairfield University where he teaches classes on medieval and Reformation theology. He enjoys reading medieval manuscripts, traveling, woodworking, hiking, and building off-grid cabins in the mountains of Colorado.
