Cole grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico with a passion for creative outlets like drawing and painting. He graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO with a degree in psychology, and now lives in Denver, Colorado with his two pugs. He loves enjoying great beer or a great bottle of wine with friends, dancing, exercising, learning guitar, and of course, writing and reading.

His favorite authors are Karin Slaughter, David Mitchell, Brad Thor, David Ellis, Harlan Coben, Dennis Lehane, Robert Bryndza, Max Brooks, Elena Ferrante, Colm Toibin, Gillian Flynn, and Larry McMurtry.
