Tao Zhang

Tao Zhang is Senior Director of IP Strategy at Huawei Device USA. Her responsibilities include IP transactions, patent portfolio development, and litigation support. Prior to Huawei, she was Director of IP Licensing at Hewlett-Packard Company; lead online patent sales, storage patent licensing, and HP Labs technology transfer.

Tao holds a Ph.D. in Physics Department from Stanford University, and a J.D. from Concord Law School. She is a member of the California Bar, a Patent Attorney registered with USPTO, and a co-inventor of 4 granted US patents.

Tao is fluent in English, Chinese, and studied Japanese for two years. She enjoys practicing Shadow Yoga (a style of Hatha Yoga) in her spare time.
