Rosie is co-founder of Greenacre Writers and co-ordinator of Finchley Literary Festival. She has written several short stories and flash fiction pieces which have been long/short-listed in competitions: Reflex Fiction; Casket of Fictional Delights; Spilling Ink; The New Writer; Flash 500; The Yellow Room and The Word Hut and published in York Tales, Mslexia, and non-fiction in Greenacre Times, a local environmental magazine.
Rosie has an MA Writing from Middlesex University and is currently a Doctoral Researcher at Southampton University, looking at The Representation of Care Leavers in Literature and working on her novel Hiraeth; this means researching all things 1970s. You can find her on Twitter: @rosie_canning
