I love to write, in fact I love to communicate verbally and in writing. Although I have had a lot of pain in my life and am empathetic to a fault, I write philosophically and spiritually. My book is based on what I have read and experienced. I consider "The Book of Lane" to be one of guidance in order to help us live in this confusing and chaotic world. Raised and schooled in Wisconsin I obtained a BA degree in psychology/sociology with a minor in philosophy from Carroll University, a Christian based University. Therefore, my moral standards and values have a foundation in the Midwest. My passions are helping animals and people. My leanings are eclectic in everything from religion to the way I dress. I was a flight attendant turned Human Resource Director and worked for 30 years in aerospace and healthcare where I wrote policies and procedures and company handbooks as well as handled company benefits and grievances. In retirement I have done everything from establish a consulting firm to being a mystery shopper and care giver. Considering myself to be a gentle soul, I live in Southern California in horse and dog country with my cat Joey. Fortunately my son, who works in project development, and my two teenage grandchildren live locally. This is my first book and not only am I excited about it I feel my dream has seen the light.
