Beverly Knauer

Multi-award-winning author Beverly Knauer is devoted to creating books that stimulate the imagination and expand the soul. Whether writing fiction or nonfiction, teaching, or exploring esoteric wisdom, her work centers on the profound human processes of spiritual and psychological healing.

Beverly’s early books include the visionary novels The Line Between and The Soul’s Hope, followed by The Exigent Earth (co-authored with Dr. Murray Rosenthal), a story that transcends traditional science fiction.

Her latest nonfiction work, The Sacred Art of Letting Go: Understanding Loss, Grief, and the Soul's Journey, speaks intimately to the spiritual dimensions of mourning. By reframing grief as a necessary soul journey rather than a problem to solve, she helps readers transform heartbreak into enduring wisdom and wholeness.

Her deep empathy for human healing stems from her prior career as Chief of Rehabilitation Services for the County of San Diego, where she managed therapy programs for children with physical disabilities, as well as from her training as an end-of-life doula. Now retired from administration, she fulfills her lifelong passion for writing from her home in San Diego, California.
