Lindsay Yearta

Lindsay Yearta, Ph.D. teaches at Winthrop University, in Rock Hill, South Carolina where she enjoys working with students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. As a former elementary school educator, she also enjoys working in classrooms with practicing teachers and their students. Her research interests include digital literacies, critical literacy, and the use of digital tools to meet the needs of each student in the classroom. Lindsay co-authored her first book, From Pencils to Podcasts: Digital Tools for Transforming K-6 Literacy Practices with her friend, colleague, and writing partner, Katie Stover. She enjoys presenting at schools and conferences to share effective practices to improve literacy teaching and learning.
