Barbara Stevenson

Barbara Stevenson lives in Orkney, between the Neolithic dwellings of Skara Brae and the Norse settlement at Birsay, with trolls, selkies and finfolk dropping by when they feel like causing mischief. She enjoys music, reading, birdwatching and walking, when not struggling to control the garden and since moving to Orkney has started learning to play the pipe organ.

The main aim of her writing is to provide inspiring characters and colourful worlds to escape into, which hopefully stay with the reader after the books are finished.

She also writes Neolithic whodunits under the name of B K Bryce.
