Terri Sabol

Terri Sabol is an animal-loving children’s author who brings humor, heart, and fascinating animal facts to her books.

In 'The Know It Owl Series', a wise and witty Owl helps young animals sort fact from fiction. Each book introduces a different animal through playful dialogue, colorful illustrations, and interactive activities. Terri researches her animal characters by visiting accredited zoos, aquariums, and sanctuaries around the world. Books in the series have earned Readers’ Favorite medals and other awards.

Terri’s 8-book 'Oscar and Emmy Series' was inspired by two kittens she met while volunteering at an animal shelter in Sugar Land, Texas. She soon adopted them. Through their adventures, she hopes to encourage compassion for animals and inspire families to consider adoption, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Her other children’s books include 'Green With Envy', 'Kneading a Winning Idea', and 'Raccoon Reunion', which explore feelings and challenges children will recognize.

When she isn’t writing or researching animals, Terri loves traveling and spending time with family and friends. She says it isn’t a travel bug; it’s a travel infection!
