Dear readers,
Hard to believe but a year ago I dreamed of creating a graphic novel. Why? Because I still wanted to tell how the British downfall in the Revolutionary War followed their terrible ordeal in North Carolina!
My traditional novel Zebulon's Oath just isn't cutting it. For most people it's challenging due to the long timeline of the story and the huge cast of characters. The fact that it runs to 336 pages probably doesn't help.
Zebulon Takes On Everybody does away with most of the cast and events. It tells a visual story through Zebulon, his friends, a sergeant, and the very top leadership. But it focuses on Zebulon and his trials. Emphasis has been put on how people lived and worked and key events of the Southern Campaign of the Revolutionary War.
This is a relatable, adventurous story. It's down to earth and full of Zebulon's passion to be free in a free country. I sincerely hope you find time to gaze at the illustrations, narration, and dialogue and come away knowing that what happened in North Carolina in 1780 and 1781 mattered in making the United States of America possible.
Your humble and steadfast Servant etc etc etc
