Barbara Wyatt

Barbara Wyatt was born in St. Louis Missouri to Canadian parents. She was raised in Missouri USA, Manitoba Canada, and spent her high school years in Switzerland. Wyatt spent her 20s traveling and working in the EU. She earned advanced degrees from universities in United States and England and worked nearly 20 years in the cable television industry.

Wyatt has written for several national magazines and her short stories were selected for publication in fiction anthologies.

"Wind on the Sounds" is based on her personal experience as a novice sailor aboard Nightrunner in the 2015 Van Isle 360 race.

When she isn’t sailing the waters of the Pacific Northwest, Wyatt is playing tennis, hiking, skiing, and always working on her next novel. Wyatt lives with her husband near Seattle, Washington.
