Chris Pennington

I wrote my first an alien invasion novel when I was nine years old and it was a whole nine pages long! Since then I've written slightly longer books (still fantastical and abstract) and started a blog to share them with the world.

Growing up Queer in a fundamentalist Christian home I think I found an escape in books and the characters inside them. Then when I went online I found the support I'd always wanted but didn't know I needed in my nerdy community.

I created the hashtag #WeAreEpicHeroes to encourage us all to be proud of who we are, whether nerd or gay or queer and live our own adventure.
