Biography

I have had an interest in history since I can remember. Scottish history has always fascinated me because there are thousands of stories full of drama and excitement. A few years ago I did Open learning degree in History, which taught the tools of research and interpretation. After I completed the degree I decided to try and write books. I got a lot of personal satisfaction in choosing a subject to research then write about it. I enjoyed the process and the more I delved into the subject the more I learned. I think I might have some more books in me, and I have several ideas. I am looking for histories that are less well known, or finding a approach to a well known story but from a different perspective. I am also trying to develop a style which is academic but free flowing in a style where the story and events are laid out in a informative and entertaining way.
