Star Donovan

Author of Gappy's Young Vampire Adventures, British-born Star Donovan is a slightly odd, inveterate daydreamer, who often wishes real life were as interesting as the world of make-believe. She's been known to drool over the smell of coal-tar soap and hyacinths, loves cats, bats and cows (yes even the smell), and never kills spiders, due to compassion and fear of bad luck. She's also incredibly thankful that a horse decided to throw her violently to the ground. Why, you ask? Because the ensuing six weeks of painful, yet creative, disability made her realize she absolutely had to quit her office job and devote more time to writing and screenwriting. She also enjoys writing funny rhyming poems for all sorts of events and blogging about the trials and tribulations of being an inner city landlord. Her most favorite place to write (apart from several quaint coffee shops) is seated in her car in the parking lot of a local park, overlooking a pond.
