Joanne Catterick was born in 1984 in Kwa-Zulu Natal. She is the second youngest of 4 children, and spent most of her childhood life living in Mtunzini, a small beach town on the North Coast of KZN, at 16 years old she moved to Durban.
There she began her working career and lived for 4 years before settling down in Johannesburg and began working as an Expat in the Engineering Industry at multiple countires in and around Africa, such as Sierra Leone, Ghana, Madagascar, Botswana, Namibia, Kenya and Zambia. She has spent most of her adult life quenching her thirst for knowledge by various studies such as Project Management, Information systems Implementation, Basic Psychology, Wildlife Management, Wildlife Photography, Fundamentals of physics and most recently, Interior Design.
She is however, most passionate about food and being the best Chef she can possibly be, and ultimately plans to one day retire into her self designed Ecomo-Home Bed and breakfast which will overlook beautiful mountain ranges and rivers where she will live her dreams away for the remainder of her days.
