Shamil Cole

Shamil M Cole, a Kansas City Mo, native born in 1981. She attended Performing Arts schools since the age of 5. High School is where she developed a love for creative writing. She is now a Mother and Wife and enjoys the art of writing. She has a passion for soothing music, and enjoys poetry writing. In the spring of 1996 she lost her Mother to a massive stroke, and began to focus on a more positive approach to release her heartache. She started journal and poetry writing as a need for comfort and therapy. She believes creative writing has a level of art that shows a unique way of beautifully connecting words of inspiration and story telling.
