ForgottenBee was born in Greenwich, London, to Yorkshire parents, the youngest of three children growing up in Kent, before spreading her wings and setting up home in the West Country. She has written short stories and poetry from a very young age. Before beginning her working career in finance, which after several years began to find suffocating, so retrained as a healer and in holistic therapies/fitness training, where she went on to manage the beauty departments in health spas and hotels, in Surrey and Kent. Head hunted by her head of school she began to work in a Further Education College teaching for over 10 years teaching a variety of holistic therapies to adults and teenagers and became one of the colleges only Internal verifiers. In 2006 she left her life to follow another career path as PA to artist Elliott Brook, together they created an Olympic Art Installation on Shepherds Bush Green called 'Goaloids' a commemoration to the 1908 London Summer Olympics and a celebration of London 2012, before his untimely death 24th December 2013.
ForgottenBee is a radio presenter on local radio station @FromeFm where she has a talk show called 'From the Hive' showcasing interviews with creatives and New Music. She curates and manages events for the Wells Festival of Literature, Bruton Festival of Arts and independently as GreedyBee Promotions. She recently won "The People's Choice Award' after being chosen 1 of 100 at the Black Swan Arts Open 2015 for her photograph avarus apis - greedy bee. She also writes for 'What's On Somerset' magazine.
