Pat McCrackin is the pen name of someone who has written both fiction and non-fiction, but prefers not to use the writer’s real name, to keep separate this more X-rated book separate from other publications. The author’s gender also is deliberately kept out of view. Is “Pat” short for Patricia or Patrick? That’s part of the mystery of the novel.
Pat McCrackin came up with a dual-gender main character as an interesting way to explore the dynamics of human relationships, both sexual-physical and Platonic-emotional. The questions begged by the narrative are whether Tom and his partners can find romance, true love, sexual fulfillment, and lasting satisfaction. These questions are as old as human life, yet just as relevant today as in ancient times.
Pat McCrackin had a good time penning this tale and hopes readers have just as much enjoyment reading it.
The sequel to this novel is The Man Without a V.
