Mitra Basu Chillar

RS Chillar was born in 1930, in a small village of erstwhile Punjab province, India. He held a post-graduate degree in Ancient Indian History and Culture from Kashi Vidya Peeth, Varanasi. He was an educationist by profession. He had 34 years’ experience as an officer in the field of education, which provided him lavish opportunities for interaction with the teachers with varied interests, especially in the field of astrology. He is the disciple of Late Shri Manik Chand Jain, the modern Aryabhat and Late Pt. Dina Nath Ji, Nakshatra Samrat and freedom fighter of India. His articles in ‘Occult India’ and ‘Mystique India’ are well received. The author has been profusely awarded for his lectures on astrology in several national astrological conferences, especially organized by Bharat Nirman® and All India Saraswati Jyotish Manch®. The International Biographical Centre, London also approved his credentials, for the award of International Man of the year-1997. He has a cult following in the field of predictive astrology and mystic rituals to mitigate the effects of various planets and their combinations (Yoga).

Dr. Mitra basu chillar completed M.B.B.S. and M.D. in Medicine from Pt.BDS PGIMS, Rohtak, India. After the completion of his senior residency in the department of Medicine and cardiology, he works with the Government of India as a Medical Scientist.

A trained gold commander in strategic management of CBRN attacks from the prestigious National Police CBRN centre, Ryton, UK, and a green belt in six sigma, Dr. Mitrabasu completed his MBA in health care administration from the faculty of management sciences, Delhi University, Delhi.

He is also a Professor at the prestigious Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (Deemed University), Pune. He was instrumental in establishing one of the earliest telemedicine link between Bangalore and Rohtak, India and received technology group award. A frequent expert panelist for prestigious healthy India programme of Lok Sabha TV Channel, He has presented many papers in various national and international conferences and a number of publications in various indexed medical journals.

A social worker, supporting poor patients, not able to afford their treatment, he has sponsored medical treatment of more than 500 patients as on now through his NGO, Bhagwati Society for Child and Women Welfare (R) .

A voracious learner in traditional systems of Astrology, Occult sciences and Tantra, he has authored many books on the subject
