Laura Perdew

Laura Perdew is an author, writing consultant, and former middle school teacher. She writes fiction and nonfiction for children, most of which are STEAM books for the education market with a focus on nature, the environment, and conservation. Both CONSERVATION SUCCESS (Nomad Press, 2025) and KEYSTONE SPECIES (Nomad Press, 2024) were on the Green Earth Book Award short list, and BIODIVERSITY: Explore the Diversity of Life on Earth (Nomad Press, 2019), is on the Booklist editor’s list of the Top 10 Books on the Environment & Sustainability for Youth 2020. Laura lives and plays in Boulder, Colorado.
