Steve Hefft is a writer and illustrator. who enjoys writing for all age groups. He started writing short magical stories for his children and had for many years harboured the desire of getting his ideas and illustrations into print eventually became reality. He enjoys putting his imagination to work on pre-school rhyming books, Children's fiction and Fantasy novels for the older reader

Steve's first Six books are aimed at the younger market and will take each child on a captivating adventure through enjoyable rhyming verse and colourful illustrations. Digby Duddleswell Secret Agent is a light hearted humorous novel aimed at 10 to 14 year old's.

His latest release is a fantasy novel for the older reader which focuses on a Dave a young man who discovers his vivid dreams are a gateway to a parallel world about to be controlled by a ruthless dark angel in the guise of a wealthy businessman who builds his fortune and commands an army of winged creatures using the energy of the hearts of the Seven Sisters—noble fallen stars who once protected humanity. Dave joins a brave underground resistance to track down the beasts, reclaim the sisters' hearts, and awaken the sleeping protectors. Ultimately, Dave must choose between his ordinary life and a destiny that requires sacrificing everything.
