Jim McKay, CPA CMA MBA CCLP is an executive leader and youth sports coach who after a successful career in both has begun to publish his learnings for others to leverage.
Professionally, Jim's career spans three decades in retail, transportation and supply chain. Over the years, he has led multiple disciplines and teams, driving results across multiple industries. From his humble beginnings as a paper boy to leading large teams at Praxair (Linde), Walmart, TFI International and most recently GLS North America, Jim leverages his experience in transportation, supply chain and leadership through impactful and insightful stories from his vast experience in the sector.
On the coaching front, Jim has been coaching female athletes for over ten years. He has coached at every level (house league, select / all star and rep) and in every age group from tyke to adult. Jim's teams are well decorated and are consistently ranked among the top teams in the Province of Ontario and beyond.
Jim holds numerous degrees and accreditations but will tell you the most important lessons he has learned in life were at the grocery store, the hockey rink or a ball diamond. Jim holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario, an Executive MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, is a Six Sigma Blackbelt, a Chartered Public Accountant (CPA, CMA) and proudly holds the CCLP (Certified CITT Logistics Professional) designation.
