Gemma Perfect

Gemma Perfect has been writing since she was nine years old, and somewhere along the way figured out something useful: resistance doesn't go away, you just learn to act anyway. That idea became The EVEN IF Theory, her framework for working through fear, procrastination and self-doubt using two words - even if.

Before non-fiction, Gemma spent years in fiction, including self published children's books, a Harper Collins romance, and four completed young adult fantasy series - The Kingmaker Series, The Accidental Witch Trilogy, the Fairy Queen Trilogy and the Unbitten duology.

That background - plus her work running literacy interventions in a school and her growing interest in neuroscience and neuroplasticity - feeds directly into how she writes non-fiction now: practical, story-driven, and grounded in how the brain actually works.

She lives in Wales with her husband Craig and their three boys, Sam, Corey and Oliver. She's happiest when writing, daydreaming, or eating smelly blue cheese.
