Barbara Tanner

Barbara Tanner recently retired after 36 magical years with Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. She began writing poetry as a teenager and her work quickly attracted the attention of professional composers. Some of her collections have served as the focal point for fully orchestrated albums, including "Women of the Bible" with acclaimed composer Richard W. Smith. Barbara is the author of the bestselling book "A Christmas Book for Christians: 11 Poems about the Birth, Life, and Resurrection of Jesus." She's a native of Southern California and her retirement has enabled her to start spending more time with the things she loves the most: her horses, her dogs, and her books.
