Lorrain Everett

Lorrain Everett was born in Norfolk Virginia. Her early years were spent moving from military bast to military base. Graduating from Western Kentucky University with a degree in History, she decided to try her hand at teaching. Discovering that teaching was not her path she became an EMT then later a nurse.

Lorrain started reading romance novels at the age of 14 after finding a box of books in her aunt's closet. She started writing a few years later and has over 100 notebooks in her study of her early stories. 

After years of reading her stories and listening to her complain about predictable characters her husband convinced her to publish her own books.

Fast forward many years, a painful divorce and many other life changes later, she has gone from writer to author.

Going from writer to author may not sound like much of a difference, but for her it involved a change in focus. She still has a 'regular' job, children, a 'gentleman friend'  and plenty of things that take time away from her writing. The change she had to make was to commit to spending time writing everyday! Sometimes that's here on her blog, sometimes its in the back yard with a pen and paper (her fav) and sometimes its sitting at the mall people watching.
