Joyce Patterson

Hi! My name is Joyce Patterson. I’m a mother, a grandmother, and a great grandmother; and I’ve been around long enough to know how important family is, and I cherish mine. If I could be granted one wish, it would be that everyone has a loving family to encourage and support them in all their endeavors.

I have a BA in Journalism and most of my jobs have included some form of writing such as: news items, reports, contracts, and procedure manuals. I never thought about being a novelist until my father had a stroke and needed 24/7 care. Without a daily writing job, I satisfied this need by writing books. Although it was mostly a case of boredom, I found I really enjoyed it.

It makes me very happy to know people are reading my books. It gives me a little giggly feeling inside. Thanks for the giggles; I hope you get some from me.
