Tinker Holmsby

Savannah’s Journey is a debut novel written under the pen name of Tinker Holmsby, and is the first in a series chronicling the life of Savannah Russell. The author lurking in the shadows behind the Tinker Holmsby persona is a veteran of the business world, the details of which are unimportant and irrelevant. Of greater interest is the cauldron of items on the resume of Tinker Holmsby, a participant in the US Federal Witness Protection Program, whose background includes recovering fine objets d’art stolen during WW II (returning them to their rightful owners whenever possible), serving as winemaker for a prominent Napa Valley vineyard, a breeder of Afghan Hounds, Airedale Terriers, Hyacinth macaws and Himalayan cats; and a lowly worker in the Parisian sex trade. The author and his bride, Tinker’s Belle, have resided in San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, St. Helena, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Santa Fe, and currently make their home in Scottsdale, AZ.

The sequel, Be Not Afraid will be published in July 2017.
