Lea Herrick

Lea Herrick was born and raised in the Middle Atlantic States, living briefly in Europe as a child. Ms. Herrick's first book, The Courageous Corgi, chronicled the journey of a rescued dog from Wales and his odyssey of courage in finding his "forever home." The Courageous Corgi is a recipient of the prestigious Mom's Choice Award, which honors excellence in family-friendly media, products and services. Lea Herrick was inspired to write The Courageous Corgi and Ace, King of My Heart as tributes to her love for animals and the environment, with the hope that all living things will be cherished and protected.
