Susannah Ray

Susannah Ray was born in 1972 in Washington, D.C. She studied photography as an undergraduate at Princeton University and completed her MFA in 1997 at the School of Visual Arts MFA Program in Photography and Related Media. Susannah Ray showed "Right Coast" at the Rockaway Beach Surf Club in 2016; the show and the accompanying book had press in The Independent UK, Lenscratch, The Surfer's Journal, and many online publications. "Right Coast" has also been exhibited in many other museum and gallery exhibtions. In 2017 she will have a solo photographic exhibition at the Bronx Museum of Art of "A Further Shore," a project featured in the New York Times and Slate.com.
