The story of Music Box was originally conceived from 25 musical pieces that Ron composed over a 2 year period.

These musical excerpts told the story for a live

theatrical production Ron envisioned. Instinctively all that was left, was to write the book and expand on the music and story that captured his imagination.

Music Box is a classic European fairy tale that was inspired from the life of his late mother Elfriede. His mother born and raised in Germany, became the protagonist of the story. Her love for music and the arts mirrors the books character in many ways. The story of Music Box is very unique, and unlike many fairy tales, it is accompanied by a musical score and live theatrical production that is currently in development.
