Marilee McLeod

Marilee McLeod is the author of How to Live Happily Ever After, as well as Leading with My Heart and Haven of the Heart, both written under her pen name Marin McKenna.

Born and raised in southeastern Michigan, Marilee and her husband, Wayne, previously lived in Missouri and Illinois before returning once again to the place of their births. They have two sons and six grandchildren. The inspiration for the author's latest book, CAROLINA DREAMS, came from researching her husband's McLeod ancestors, a search that led her to connect with some distant cousins, and ultimately culminated in a trip to the very place where the McLeod clan first settled in America.
