Laura L White

Laura L. White, Author of The Wondrous World of Wren and Will, began her writing career with a children's book series that dives into difficult topics and breaks down uncomfortable barriers through the imagination and innocence of two young children.

Laura's passion for writing started young, but her interest was later sparked when her ex-husband was diagnosed with ALS. As she watched her children, Wren and Will, grow in their abilities, the same was diminished from her ex-husband's. Laura decided to take note of her children's positive attitudes, despite the hardship they faced as a family. These events inspired her to create the first book of the series, which she hopes can promote positive dialogue surrounding illness for other families as well.

When Laura isn't writing, she enjoys being with family and trying new things. Laura and her husband, Ben, take their kids on trips where they can explore caves, white water raft, mountain climb, among other adventures.

She wants to inspire and promote positive dialogue for families, schools, and our community.
