William Spangler-Dunning

Rev. William Spangler-Dunning is a long time storyteller who has just recently begun to share his stories with the world. Early on in his life he realized that he was going to be a storyteller through the way he was taught to experience life as sacred moments that make up the person we become. Growing up in a wonderful family living below the poverty line he learned the value of telling stories to bring about hope, meaning and often laughter from his father. Though both of his parents were prevented by life's circumstances from going beyond the eighth grade in their education they taught "little Billy" how to speak truth in story when the facts were too difficult to remember.

Rev. Spangler-Dunning serves in his role as Regional Minister and President for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Virginia where he often gets to share and experience new stories of life that either make it in to a sermon or perhaps his next book.
