Hi! I'm a native of Idaho who has spent much of her life out of the state, and who agrees with Helen Keller that "Life is a great adventure...or nothing".
"My Border Collie World" is my tribute to a wonderful canine companion who shared my life for 12 years. I've always loved animals, especially dogs and horses.
I'm a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and California State University, Northridge. Both degrees were pursued primarily during night school classes while I held down one or more jobs.
In 2017 I wrote and published through CreateSpace, "Civilian Women's Quarters", a novel about a group of civilian women working on an isolated US Air Force Base on Guam.
In 2018 I wrote and published through CreateSpace, "We Gather Together", a novel about a semi-retired brother and sister who lost their spouses and convert an abandoned rural church into a comfortable, caring independent living facility for residents of all ages.
I'm alone, in that most of my family has passed; however, I'm excited to see each new day and grateful for my faith.
In 2020 I've written and published through Kindle/Amazon "Across the State Line" , the story of Julie, a forty-something hotel manager in Boise, who, after the brutal murder of her mother in Boise, Idaho accepts a promotion to a similar position in Jackpot, Nevada. Her moving to the new challenge, with her border collie, leads to the unexpected solving of her mother's homicide and offers Julie new choices in life and love.
In 2020 I also attended the premiere of "Free Meal" a short film written by two other screemwriters and myself.
