Christopher Warner

Chris Warner grew up in rural South Africa during the apartheid scourge. He has qualifications in Industrial Engineering and Marketing at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Port Elizabeth. He received awards for academic excellence in 1992/3 . He has 24-years experience deploying Lean thinking within multinational manufacturing and mining companies around the world. His work has taken him to China, Romania, Germany, United Kingdom, Malaysia, South Africa and now Australia. He received executive leadership training on the Toyota Production System at the Toyota Motor Company of South Africa. His current passion is integrating Lean within a mining context. His first book 'Flick The Switch' is an outcome of the work he has done within mining over the past decade.
