She prayed her heart out one night for help to get closer to God. The next day, someone threw a book about Wicca in her lap. Not only did it help her get closer to God, but also to Goddess. She has been walking the Wiccan path ever since.
Mackenzie Sage Wright is known affectionately as 'Mac' to friends and family, or Sage in the Pagan community. She has been Wiccan for 25 years. As a maiden, she belonged to a small, eclectic (now defunct) coven, and feels blessed to have had the guidance of knowledgeable and intelligent elders set her path on course. As a mother, she has been the matriarch of a Pagan family, raising three little Wicclings to adulthood (almost) with her husband (a/k/a, her BFF). As a crone, she is a writer, a teacher, and (she hopes) serving her Gods well by helping others learn about Pagan spirituality and Witchcraft.
With a B.A. degree in English Lit. and education, it comes as no surprise her life took this course. Sage has been making a living as a writer for more than a decade now. Most of her work has been ghostwriting on topics that include just about everything except Paganism, but she finally began publishing articles and blogging as a labor of love. Her body of work online began growing to over 200 articles, her own website and blog, and she felt urged to continue in that direction. Now, her professional life, spiritual life and mundane life are merging together into just… life. And it’s awesome.
