Jo Jackson

Jo Jackson is the author of four novels and a novella. She was born in Birmingham UK. She was a nurse and midwife before becoming a family psychotherapist. In the 1980's Jo lived with her husband and children in Cairo and it is from here that the inspiration for her first novel 'Too Loud a Silence' came. Her second novel, Beyond the Margin is set in Ireland and her third, They Speak of Night, in India, a country she loves. For her fourth novel, 'Them Hills Be Holy she has returned to her roots. The story begins in the Black Country and moves to Clee Hill in Shropshire, the county in which she now lives with her husband, dog and five pet sheep. Her novels have been received with high acclaim.
