Jeff Pryor

Jeff Pryor's childhood in Northern Michigan provided a perfect landscape for developing his imagination. His teen years in the metro Detroit area added a wealth of new experiences and allowed him to draw from both urban and rural perspectives.

Reading and writing came naturally as a child. Exposure to Dungeons and Dragons at a young age steered him toward fantasy before he even knew what that meant. After playing just a few times, adventures full of noble heroes and evil monsters began to fill his thoughts, leading him to develop ever more complex expeditions for his fellow players. Absorbing every fantasy story he could find developed his love of the genre.

He dabbled with writing a book for many years. It was the story of a campaign ran with his friends. Growing frustrated when the story never developed into something he found to be worth printing, he almost gave up. Finally, though, a story began growing in his imagination. It wasn't even a story at first. It was a character, a boy named Daeron.

His story and Jeff's writing career begin with 'CHOSEN of TREES and of TALONS'. This was followed up by his poetry collection, 'WHISPERS of a BROKEN WORLD'. With multiple projects in the work, this is just the beginning.
