Jeff Eisenberg

Jeff Eisenberg was born in Irvington, New Jersey in 1964. He is an original Dharma Punk from the original Sangha in NYC, and is a teacher in the Dharma Punx lineage under Noah Levine, a lineage which is rooted in the Therevada tradition. He has also been studying Zen Buddhism for over 30 years, primarily in the White Plum lineage, as well as studying Chan Buddhism in the Dharma Drum lineage. He is the author of "Fighting Buddha", "Buddha's Bodyguard", and "Fortune Cookie Zen". His goal is to make the Buddhist teachings easily accessible, understood, and applicable in a pragmatic, practical way to assimilate into daily life. You can find him at the Jersey Shore where he teaches Jujitsu at Asbury Park Jujitsu and leads the weekly New Jersey Dharma Punx group in Bradley Beach and on zoom.
